The Road to Now podcast seeks to illuminate the importance of history in shaping the modern world and to understand the ways that exceptional paths emerge from common origins.

We hope that through our conversations and interviews with pioneering individuals in today’s world we can trace the intersections and divergences of personal and historical narratives, and illuminate the map that links the present to the past.

In this first episode, we talk about how we both came to be so inspired by, and passionate about, the study of American history. We then we explain why we believe America has entered a new populist era.
